The Loop

Part of Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood, Andersonville is a quaint, family-oriented town on the north side of the city. Known for its large Swedish population, Andersonville is home to the Swedish American Museum and a number of delicious Swedish restaurants. This area also plays host to the largest LGBTQIA community in the city limits and a number of Chicago’s most popular gay bars and nightlife. With a huge outcropping of independent shops, restaurants, and bars, this spot is slowly becoming one of the city’s most popular for new residents.
