It is located adjacent to the Magnificent Mile and also includes many high-end retail stores. Known as the home to some of the city’s richest residents, Gold Coast has a long history and features classic Chicago architecture. Today, it has high rise apartment buildings, mansions, and many different restaurants and bars. Main attractions include Gibson’s Steakhouse, Butch Mcguire’s, and Lou Malnati’s. Located directly along the lakefront, Gold Coast is a popular area for tourists and Chicagoans alike.
