Guess what, Chicago? We’re getting our very own set of Infinity Mirror Rooms by creator Yayoi Kusama. Get your Insta stories ready!
The Infinity Mirror Rooms are a collection of up to 20 variations of mirrored spaces that give the impression of going on forever. So you can imagine why this was such a huge hit on Instagram when first unveiled.
The current installation is dubbed “Let’s Survive Forever”, and will be on display in the West Loop starting August 17th in the new wndr museum (decapitalized on purpose, don’t crucify me). Each room will consist of reflective orbs, similar to those used in Kusama’s Narcissus Garden, that further enhance the experience
