West Town is a collection of neighborhoods on Chicago’s west side. Its borders are the Chicago River to the east, the Union Pacific railroad tracks to the south, Bloomingdale Avenue to the north, and Humboldt Park and Grand Avenue to the west. West Town includes some of Chicago’s most popular communities including Wicker Park, Ukrainian Village, Noble Square, and River West. While it technically covers this massive area, the southernmost part between Augusta Boulevard and Kinzie Street is what’s most synonymous with West Town. One of the largest and most populated communities in the city, West Town is an iconic Chicago neighborhood.
