Chicago’s New Music Venue in Pilsen, Radius, Brings Lil Wayne, Alkaline Trio, and More in 2020

A new independently owned and operated Chicago concert venue called Radius will be opening in Pilsen in 2020 with a banging lineup.

With a focus entirely on bringing celebrated artists to one of our favorite Chicago neighborhoods, the 55,000 square-foot, multi-purpose Chicago concert venue allows for 2,500 to 3,800 people to pack in and jam out. Feel yourself enveloped by the music, thanks to exceptional acoustics and a state-of-the-art D&B KSL sound system. Guests can enter the deluxe mezzanine level with VIP packages for an intoxicating concert experience.

A renovated old steel factory-turned-modern entertainment space, Radius fits right into the Pilsen neighborhood by lining the front entrance with enormous murals by artists Lefty Out There, Thank You X, and NYCHOS. The Radius Chicago concert venue features lavish artist lounges and nine full-service bars within the space that allow guests to drink their fill of craft beer and unique cocktails. Guests may also access a spacious outdoor smoking section between sets if they wish.

The lineup at Radius in Chicago for 2020 is utterly packed with big names: Lil Wayne, Dillon Francis, Alkaline Trio, and August Burns Red are among the many that are set to perform early in the year, with plenty more to follow. Tickets for all upcoming shows at Radius officially go on sale on Friday, December 13! You can peep the full lineup below.

Nick Karounos, owner and operator of Radius in Chicago, is no stranger to the music industry. Having played a significant role in the Chicago music scene by running Concord Music Hall, the MID, and PRYSM Nightclub, Karaonous was looking for the next big thing when he realized the downtown area was severely lacking a large concert venue. That’s where the idea to create Radius came into play and those dreams became a surreal reality.

Within the Radius Chicago concert venue is Cermak Hall, a 10,000 square-foot, multi-purpose event space that features its own entrance, a full bar, and a solo stage. Cermak Hall is designed to allow guests to mingle in a pre- and post-event space that can also cater to weddings, conventions, corporate and private events, and more.
