Underneath the John Hancock Center’s shining Christmas tree awaits a holiday trolley adorned in Christmas lights that will take you on a two-and-a-half-hour excursion through the brightly lit Wrigleyville, Lakeview, Old Town, and Lincoln Park, stopping at the famous Christkindlmarket at Wrigleyville’s Gallagher Way, and then heading to illuminated holiday fun at the Lincoln Park ZooLights before circling back to the John Hancock Center. Holiday Lights Tours, hosted by Chicago Trolley & Double Decker Co., are available during the following dates:
- Friday, November 29 – Sunday, December 1
- Friday, December 6 – Sunday, December 8
- Friday, December 13 – Monday, December 23
- Thursday, December 26 – Tuesday, December 30
Weekday time slots for these Christmas light tours near you in Chicago are open on December 16 – 19, 23, 26, and 30, running at 5:30 pm, 6:00 pm, and 6:30 pm. Friday and Saturday slots are available November 29 – 30, December 6 – 7, 13 – 14, 20 – 21, and 27 – 28, at 3:30 pm, 5:30 pm, 6:00 pm, and 6:30 pm. Sunday slots are available on December 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29, and run at 4:30pm, 5:00pm, and 5:30pm.
Adult boarding passes for the Holiday Lights Tour in Chicago are $35 and kids (3-15) are $20. We recommend ordering pre-sale tickets now, as admission is often limited on the day of the tour. Keep in mind, refunds are not provided for unused tickets, and tour routes and times are subject to change.
