Chicago’s first and ONLY Hanukkah-themed pop-up bar is open all month long and has plenty to do and see. This winter wonderland created specifically to commemorate the Jewish holiday has over 8,000 blue and white lights and Hanukkah ball lanterns hanging from the ceiling. The food menu ranges from $5 to $12 and includes favorites like Latkes, Matzo Ball Soup, Brisket Platter, Grilled Cheese with a twist served on Challah Bread, and a decadent Boozy Jelly Donut made with housemade vodka-infused jelly. Don’t forget to order a festive cocktail, either, including the Gelt Martini (Wheatley Vodka, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, Crème de Cacao, chocolate syrup, Hanukkah gelt) and a Manischewitz Spritzer (Manischewitz, Koval Cranberry, Mionetto Prosecco, club soda and an orange slice). And, to make your whole party happy, make sure to order the 18-foot giant menorah “shotski,” starting at $24, so all eight of your friends can take a shot at once.
