Ahh, gotta love it, the post-championship feeling. Celebrations are taking place around Chicago, and the Stanley Cup has been right in the middle of the action. Here’s a recap of The Cup’s journey since the big win.
The Cup left the United Center locker room around 4 am early Tuesday morning and traveled to the MID nightclub in the Fulton District. The Cup partied hard until around 5:45 am before being escorted back to the UC in a black SUV.
Don’t worry, Lord Stanley was buckled up tight.
After a short night’s sleep, The Cup again made an appearance at a Blackhawks staff lunch at Phil Stefani’s 437 North Rush restaurant in River North. Sources claim that The Cup had a wonderful time, but soon enough he was taken back to the UC again for another short rest.

After that? The Cup made a pit stop at Patrick Sharp’s place in Lakeview before hitting the diamond at Wrigley Field. Jonathan Toews threw out the first pitch and Stanley enjoyed some quality time on the mound.

It wasn’t all about the game though. The Cup was then taken down Clark Street to Rockit Burger Bar and Sluggers before continuing south to Tavern on Rush in the Gold Coast and Rockit in River North. Players shared Cup pictures and champagne with the patient fans waiting outside.
After this, Lord Stanley made a stop at WGN 720 Studios.

And finally, The Cup stopped at The Scout, a bar in the South Loop. We were on the scene to take some pics!
