That’s right, kids! The UrbanMatter app has evolved into its final form thanks to the expertise of our developers, the creative eye of our designers, and the excellent direction of our project managers.
So we’re throwing a party because we want to celebrate it all with you!
How: Open bar and catering from Antique Taco, photo opportunities, DJ-curated jams, dope prizes, and so much more!
Easy Baris a Wicker Park neighborhood staple, located on the corner of Division and Damen. Their beer list is both excellent and extensive, but they have a few killer cocktails in the mix, too. Thanks to the open bar package, you can let loose and have some fun while kicking back in Easy Bar’s private lounge, which is equipped to host up to 100 guests, has its own private bar, and boasts plenty of plush seating for everyone in your group! Once the evening gets going, we’ll let the DJ-curated jams set the vibe for an awesome night out.
Want to get the party started a little earlier? Hang out at Easy Bar from 5-7 pm for their Happy Hour specials of 1/2 off everything!
It’s about to get lit and we know you don’t want to miss out, especially on catering from Antique Taco.
Antique Taco is a minority- and women-owned business that specializes in serving up some of Chicago’s most delicious tacos to date. Their Wicker Park spot was the perfect choice for catering our event. We plan to serve three different tacos from their menu (including a veggie option!) and break out the chips and guac, because what’s a party without it? Once you’re a few beers in, there’s nothing like a damn good taco to hold you over, and you know it, too.
You can purchase tickets to our extravaganza on Eventbrite and please feel free to let us know you’re coming by commenting on our Facebook post! We can’t wait to see all of you there.
With a B.A. in English and Communications from Trinity International University, Kali knew she would take the path of a zealous editor the moment she stepped out into the working world. A passion for words takes up the forefront of her mind, but you can also find Kali happily daydreaming about traveling abroad in the summertime. Big sunglasses, even bigger books, perennial plants, and obscure art are among the few items you might find in Kali’s room, and she’s always eager to have a discussion about social issues. You can often find her madly typing her latest book into existence, currently Sinister Chicago.
