This isn’t your average Taste of Chicago.
Tastemaker is a revolutionary concept, where humans all over Chicago can indulge in some of the city’s finest chef-prepared dishes for an affordable all-inclusive price of admission. On August 25 from 2 – 5 pm, and for just $15, let your taste buds run rampant among the succulent offerings.
We’ll meet you at Renee Crown Public Media Center (5400 N St. Louis Ave, Chicago, IL 60625) to experience the Tastemaker extravaganza at its fullest. Pulling inspiration from both Toronto, Canada, and Chicago, the nationally renowned chefs at the Tastemaker in Chicago will collaborate to produce their best concoctions via one-off menus for you to taste as you wander. The chefs at this Chicago food festival include Jenny Yang of Phoenix Bean; Harold Wilken from The Mill at Janie’s Farm; Laurel Boger, executive pastry chef for Eli’s Cheesecake; and Zhenwei Zhu, Analytical Chemist for the Institute of Environmental Sustainability at Loyola University Chicago.
