Get Out There!

Here’s an idea…why not convert a vintage Airstream trailer into a food truck? That’s just what the chefs at Cocovan did, serving delicious island fare right next to their upscale flagship restaurant, Coco Bistro. This contemporary menu offers tapas-sized servings, created by Executive Chef Stuart Gray. Enjoy spicy tuna tartar, Peking duck tacos, and fried shrimp mac and cheese balls. Save room for dessert because the deep-fried churros coated in cinnamon sugar with chocolate sauce are outstanding.
Local Fish Fry On the Beach
Every Thursday night, the locals gather from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. to enjoy an evening of “all things TCI.” Visitors, too, feel like a part of the island, munching on lobster mac and cheese, conch salad, sweet corn, and more. Bond with a cute little Potcake pup from Potcake Place, the rescue dog center. Stop in, see the puppies, and take a little doggie out for a walk on the beach. The rescue center provides you with everything you need to take care of an adorable pooch for the day.
