For those who love craft beer, the Chicago Ale Fest is a must-attend event. Taking place on January 11, 2020, from 3 – 7 pm at the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier, the Chicago Ale Fest lets you sample more than 100 brews and snacks from food trucks. While you enjoy your beer or cider, you can sit back and listen to the DJ spinning some of your favorite music.
All ticket-holders get 20 drink tickets when they arrive, which can each be turned in for a 3-oz sample. If those tastings weren’t enough for you, you could always purchase additional tickets for just 50 cents!
There will also be some fun swag you can purchase at the event, so make sure to bring extra cash.
Just some of the local breweries that will be there include:
- 3 Floyds
- 2nd Shift Brewing
- 2 Fools Cider
- City Lights Brewing Co
- Cruz Blanca Brewery
- Dovetail Brewery
- Goose Island
- Finch Beer Co
- Forbidden Root
- Metropolitan Brewing
- Exit Strategy Brewing Co
- Energy City Brewing
- Guinness
- Virtue Cider
- Stone Brewing Co
- And many more!
At the event, no outside food or drink, pets, or people under the age of 21 are allowed in. You will be carded at the entry, so make sure you don’t forget your ID! While they would prefer that no large bags or backpacks are brought in, you ultimately can, but the bags are subject to be checked.
Tickets are on sale right now, so make sure to get them before they sell out! General admission is $50, but you can also choose to purchase an early entry ticket for $60 that grants you an extra hour of drinking.
Tickets might be available at the door, but you don’t want to risk missing out on this fun wintertime event.
