While summer events are winding down into nonexistence, there are plenty of fall-friendly happenings cropping up as we venture further into August. If you’re a sucker for the strange, hopeless for the hype, curious for the circus, you’re bound to fall in love with the magic of Midnight Circus in the Parks. Following a 9-week tour of pop-up Little Big Tops throughout many of Chicago’s greatest parks, this sensational performance takes the captivating nostalgia of the circus and transforms it into a modern showcase of exceptional talent. It also, surprisingly, doesn’t take place at midnight, which only adds to the mystery of this awesome display.
Midnight Circus in the Parks highlights various core values that they implement into every show: affordability for the people, support for Chicago parks, activism for animal rights, and appreciation for their volunteers. Not only will you see talented four-legged friends performing acrobatic moves, but you can rest assured that these rescue pit bulls are treated humanely, trained well, and loved by all members of the cast.
