19 Best Patios in Austin for Enjoying Fall Weather

It’s finally prime weather to be lounging on patios and we are thrilled! Austin has a healthy patio scene throughout most of the year, but none quite like when that first cool breeze hits. Trees begin to change color, and suddenly pumpkins are on every restaurant and bar patio in town — along with a fair share of spooky decorations. These are some of the best patios in Austin for enjoying the fall weather.

1417 French Bistro

1417 S 1st St, Austin, TX 78704

1417 French Bistro is a warm and friendly neighborhood restaurant that embraces the culture of dining at a true French bistro. Owner Allison Welsh curated the desirable restaurant space to feel inviting, yet elevated with modern artwork, mid-century furniture and a lush array of plants. The front patio is reminiscent of the streets of Paris with an assortment of bistro chairs, mismatched china, and cobblestones. Enjoy drinks like the Hemingway Daiquiri, Cucumber Gimlet and Sazerac while you munch on some of their guest favorite dishes like the Escargot vol au Vent, Moody Blue Cheese Beignets and Steak Tartare. Don’t forget they also offer a delicious brunch!
