About Zanies Comedy Night Club
Recently celebrating its 40th anniversary, Zanies Comedy Night Club is a stand-up comedy club on Wells Street. Most shows feature upcoming performers from across the country, but Zanies does bring out the occasional big name. Open seven nights a week, Zanies specializes in classic stand-up comedy and has a capacity of just 120 people. The walls are decorated with signed portraits of comedy legends like Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, and other past performers. The crowd generally consists of tourists and locals on a night out, making Zanies a popular destination for everyone. It is one of Chicago’s oldest and most respected comedy clubs.
