Wrigley Field

INFO

Wrigley Field is the home of the Chicago Cubs.

Originally known as Weeghman Park, Wrigley Field was built in 1914 on grounds that were once occupied by a seminary. It ranks as the second-oldest ballpark in the major league behind Boston’s Fenway Park. They were purchased by the Tribune Company in 1981, which helped add developments and renovations to the field, including a new clubhouse, private boxes, a restaurant in the batter’s eye and plenty more.
