About The Hideout
The Hideout – alternatively known as The Hideout Inn, Hideout, or “Chicago’s most loved small venue”– is a tiny spot for alternative music in Wicker Park. Though it may be small, what Hideout lacks in size it certainly makes up for in sound, offering concert-goers some of the best live performances on the north side. Legally opening its doors in 1934, this spot was intended as a reprieve for those who just didn’t quite fit in with polite society, and has maintained this credo ever since. Swing by the Hideout on any given night for great tunes, great brews and an overall unforgettable time out.
