Portillo’s River North location at 100 W. Ontario St. was named number one in a list of 10 restaurants on TripAdvisor’s 2018 Travelers’ Choice® Awards, and we’re honestly not even surprised.
Every year, TripAdvisor compiles several lists of America’s most outstanding restaurants, and it’s really no wonder that Portillo’s took the top spot in its category. The 2018 Travelers’ Choice® Awards for fast-casual restaurants highlights 25 places in the United States that provide exceptional service and quality to their customers, and we can all bear witness to how dedicated Portillo’s has been to Chicagoans for the past 60 years.
Fast-casual spots that also made the list include NYC’s Shake Shack, Orlando’s Blaze Pizza, LA’s In-N-Out Burger, and Seattle’s MOD Pizza. And all fell short of the glory of Portillo’s.
