One Year Later, Tony N’ Tina Are Still Getting Married!

Come celebrate the wedding of Tony n’ Tina!

Can Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding still stay fresh and fun more than a year after returning to the Chicagoland theatre scene? The answer is a resounding, yes! Brought back to Chicago after a successful 16-year run by original cast member Paul Stroli last year, the show is now on an indefinite run.

This hilarious, all-inclusive, interactive night of entertainment makes you really feel like you’re a part of the family – never mind which side! From the wedding ceremony to the high-energy reception, complete with an Italian-style meal, champagne toast, and wedding cake, you’ll celebrate alongside Tony and Tina and 23 of their closest family and friends. With many of the same great cast and an all new Tony, played by Rory Zacher, you never know what’s going to happen! Having seen the show previously, I can tell you, it’s different every time.

The two-part interactive show begins with the ceremony at Resurrection Church, 3309 North Seminary Ave in Chicago. Father Mark welcomes you onto the steps, a photographer is waiting to take your picture, and Sister Albert Maria is nervously handing out song sheets. The wedding comes off without a hitch… or two!

Then, the wedding party escorts you down the street to Vinnie Black’s Coliseum (Chicago Theater Works) at 1113 West Belmont for the Italian-style meal and reception, in the heart of the Belmont Theatre District. Get ready because once the music starts, it’s non-stop fun with dinner, dancing and drama!

Rory Zacher as Anthony Angelo Nuncio Jr. (Tony) is a handsome, sweet and doting groom, at least for a while. The beautiful Hilary Jimenez stars as Valentina Lynne Vitale (Tina), who loves her Tony, but is mortified by her mother and the wedding party’s antics, which are hysterical to the audience. Tall Tony Jaksha as Dominick Fabrizzi is high-energy, always looking for fun or a fight. Every ethnic group gets in on the action as the crowd dances to “YMCA,” “Hava Nagila” and “Roll Out the Barrel.” Listen as the bridal party visits all the tables and dishes the dirt. You can’t leave this wedding without having a great time!
