About Swedish American Museum
Home to Andersonville’s beloved Swedish flag watertower, The Swedish American Museum boasts a wide array of exhibits, artifacts, events and community programming celebrating the cultural heritage of the area. Serving the largest population of Swedish Americans in the city – if not in the country – the SAM opened in 1976, and has been paying tribute to Swedish culture ever since.
