About South Shore Cultural Center
Originally built in the early 1900s as a country club, South Shore Cultural Center is a historical building with beautiful architecture. It includes a dining hall, theater, dance studio, art gallery, and more. The exterior still features the original golf course and also has a beach area with several open spaces for picnics. South Shore Cultural Center is often rented out for weddings, meetings, and receptions and offers activities like art classes, fitness programs, and cooking classes. It is a cultural gem of Chicago and one of the top destinations in South Shore.
