About The Field Museum
Part of Chicago’s famous museum campus, The Field Museum is one of the city’s most popular destinations. In what started as an outcrop of the 1893 World’s Fair, the museum is home not only to a few of the world’s premier curatorial exhibits, but also much of Chicago’s own history. You may, for example, recognize the skeleton of Sue the T-Rex, or even the infamous Cannibal Forks – both of which have been on display in the museum for years. Housing thousands of artifacts – and even more information – The Field Museum is a must-see spot on anyone’s Chicago bucket list.
