About Three Dots and a Dash

A relative newcomer to the River North bar scene, Three Dots and a Dash has secured itself a position among the most interesting bars in Chicago. Founded by the Melman brothers, the tiki bar turned underground speakeasy takes its name from the Morse code of the letter V. According to the brothers, this code was used by soldiers to signify the end of World War II, thus leading American linemen throughout the Pacific to launch into celebration. This post-war, island party inspires both the decor and fruity-fare of Three Dots and a Dash. Enter this lounge via alleyway and descend the rope-lined staircase to embark into what is sure to be the most tropical bunker you will ever visit.
