Where does Chicago rank?
WalletHub has released their new study, detailing their findings on the best cities for Illinois families. The report measured four distinct categories: family life and fun, education, health and safety, affordability, and socioeconomic environment. The results of each are aggregated together to form a total overall score. Perhaps somewhat unsurprisingly, Chicago ranked fairly low, coming in at #154 with an overall score of 41.49 (out of 100).
Many suburban Chicagoland neighborhoods fared much better than the Windy City, with Morton taking over the top spot with a total score of 72.67 – barely edging out runner-up Deerfield.
