The Air and Water Show was an exciting event for many this past weekend. Countless visitors flocked to North Ave Beach and the surrounding area to watch the insane aerobatics, perfectly synchronized parachute teams, and of course, the Blue Angels.
Sadly, this year’s event also carried with it some heartbreaking news. Corey Hood, a 14-year army veteran who served five tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, passed away after sustaining injuries during Saturday’s performance.
