Ravinia announcements mean summer can’t be too far away
Get your picnic blankets ready! Ravinia Festival in Highland Park is gearing up for another stellar season with the announcement of presale tickets for several exciting shows.
Returning to Ravinia is multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated quintet OneRepublic with back-to-back shows on July 14 and 15 with Fitz & The Tantrums and opener James Arthur, winner of series nine of Britain’s The X Factor. John Legend’s Darkness and Light Tour comes to Ravinia on June 10 in support of his new album of the same name, with Grammy-nominated artist, Gallant. Also, making a return appearance is the Moody Blues: Days of Future Passed on June 30, 2017. Other just-announced concerts include Gipsy Kings on June 23, five-time Grammy-winning jazz pianist and vocalist Diana Krall on June 28, and punk and alternative icons Blondie and Garbage with The Rage and Rapture Tour on July 22.
The full 2017 season will be announced on March 15 with special presale tickets beginning on March 17. Tickets for the remaining season go on sale May 9.
