This surprising restaurant in Lisle, IL, of all places has some of the best pizza that the western suburbs have to offer. Featuring upscale, rustic decor with exposed pipes and a mild punk vibe, Paisans creates the perfect crossover between a sports bar and a chic club (minus the dancing). While Paisans doesn’t yet have a delivery option, picking up one of their pizza pies is totally worth the drive. Eating in is even better, as you get to enjoy the unique atmosphere and be charmed by their fantastic waitstaff.
Any of their traditional pizzas should be ordered with stuffed crust, as that is their signature item, but you can’t go wrong with Sicilian or deep-dish-style, either. They also have plenty of other amazing entrees, such the Ogden Avenue BBQ pulled pork sandwich or Nonna’s Lasagne. Don’t miss out on their appetizers: Paisans has plenty of creative solutions for those who enjoy crossover flavors. The Buffalo Shrimp platter is to-die-for and the Tucson Bruschetta simply melts in your mouth. Paisans Pizzeria is total foodie heaven in the middle of the western suburbs.
