Hearth is a winter time staple. Generous portions of rich, flavorful food is especially palatable when the temperatures drop, and their Restaurant Week menu is no exception. Patrons can start their meal off with winter squash and lentil soup complete with pumpkin seed pesto, or opt for the more decadent roasted pork belly. Mains are equally indulgent and include grass-feed beef and ricotta meatballs and fusilli with escarole and breadcrumbs. Save room for Stella’s pudding, which has a dark chocolate base and is topped with mascarpone and candied cocoa nibs.

This NoHo brasserie is a must if you’re looking for refined food in an upscale, elegant setting. Although the Restaurant Week dinner prix-fixe costs just $42, you’ll feel like you’re spending hundreds based on the high-quality offerings visitors can choose from. Standouts include salmon rillette with cucumbers and horseradish, sugar pumpkin risotto with sage and mushrooms, and duck leg confit with a cassoulet of beans. The profiteroles with apples, brown butter ice cream, and caramel sauce are the perfect way to end your meal on a sweet note.

Sometimes, nothing sounds better than chip, guacamole, and a margarita (or two). If you’re looking to upgrade your next Mexican meal and try some authentic eats, consider dining at Rosa Mexicano during NYC Restaurant Week. Appetizers include cauliflower soup with bacon and green onions and a quesadilla de Huitlacoche, while entrees feature tequila marinated skirt steak and pan seared white fish with roasted pepper and olive tomato sauce. Churros with dark chocolate dipping sauce are a playful way to end your meal.

Benchmark Restaurant

339A 2nd Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215

Carnivores take note: Benchmark’s Restaurant Week offerings may be the most meat-centric in all of New York City. Main courses include both a grass-fed filet mignon with red wine sauce and a dry aged Porterhouse for two with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. If plant-based eating is more your speed, the roasted acorn squash with curried quinoa and winter vegetables is a satisfying, meatless meal.

Leuca

111 North 12th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11249

Tucked away within the swanky William Vale Hotel, Leuca is a must if you’re craving upscale Italian food. Menu options include bay scallop crudo and chickpea pugliese to start, and short rib agnolotti and hanger steak as main courses. The pistachio cake with olive oil ice cream is an inventive way to end your meal on a Mediterranean note.

Contrary to its name, Restaurant Week actually spans three weeks, meaning you have until February 9 to check out these discounted menu deals.
