About Metropolitan Brewing
Metropolitan Brewing is a Chicago-based brewery known for its trademark German-style lagers. Founded in Ravenswood in 2008, Metropolitan moved to its current Avondale location in 2017. An impressive brewery and taproom, it includes both an indoor seating area and an outdoor patio on the Chicago River. Their most famous beers including Krankshaft and Dynamo are available, as well as limited edition and seasonal brews. Each beer can be sampled in a variety of different sizes. Metropolitan doesn’t serve food, but customers can bring outside food to the brewery. Serving some of Chicago’s best hometown beer, Metropolitan Brewing is undoubtedly a top destination in Avondale.
