About Map Room
Decorated with flags, maps, and National Geographic magazines, Map Room is a Bucktown bar with a unique atmosphere. Opened in 1992, it celebrates the owners’ love of traveling and is located at the corner of Hoyne and Armitage. Map Room is a beer lover’s paradise and has over 25 beers on tap and 250 in bottles. It opens up early in the morning for coffee and lattes and doesn’t close until late at night. Every Friday and Saturday night, there’s a live music performance on an elevated stage in the back. Map Room is one of Bucktown’s most diverse establishments and welcomes Chicagoans almost 24 hours a day.
