The Vic

Once known as the Victoria Theater, Lakeview’s The Vic has been around for almost 105 years, making it one of the oldest venues in Chicago. In the early 1900’s the space featured vaudeville actors and variety shows for some of the city’s wealthiest residents. To date The Vic’s clientele leans just slightly more punk-rock, as the concert hall now boasts performances from Chicago’s best underground solo artists and bands. When no one is playing, check out The Vic’s alternative bar the Brew & View, just up the street.
