About The Museum of Science and Industry
Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry is one of the largest scientific museums and educational spaces in the entire world. With over 400,000 sq feet of exhibits, showcases, educational presentation and scientific experiments, this Hyde Park attractions is one of the most popular city wide. The museum was first built out of the 1893 Columbian Exposition and was officially erected as early as 1933, making it not only one of the oldest buildings in the city limits, but one of the only of those created for the Colombian Exposition to still exist today.
