Holi Hai Is Returning to Governors Island and We Can’t Freaking Wait

NYC’s biggest Spring Color Festival is returning to Governors Island for the ninth year in a row this Saturday, May 12 for one day only.

Holi Hai is a traditionally Hindi holiday that celebrates the arrival of Spring, equality, friendship, and the joy that manifests itself at this spectacular yearly event. From 12 – 7 p.m., you can get an honorary henna tattoo, indulge in all of the delicious food and drink brought to you by local vendors, get inspired by Bhangra performances, and powder yourself in all of the colors you can possibly imagine.
