Why you should visit
The Harris Theater for Music and Dance at Millennium Park has been hosting big names from around the globe since 2003. The Harris Theater is the modern outlier to all of the classic older theaters in the city. If you’re looking to see a show at a newer, contemporary venue, this is your best bet.
There are also 40 different resident companies that consider the Harris Theater their home. Some of the big names include Music of the Baroque, Chicago Opera Theater, Chicago Children’s Choir, Chicago Human Rhythm Project, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. The venue isn’t just comprised of these resident acts though. There are always visiting music and dance acts to see, and with a location in Millennium Park, there are always other great things to do around the theater too!
