Chicago’s Night Nation Run

Normally we’d start with an intro, but just take one look at this and tell us it doesn’t look like fun.

Now for an explanation… The Night Nation Run is a combination of a 5K and a massive EDM concert. It sounds like a weird combination at first, but once one million plus participants have taken part in an event, it’s hard not to take notice.

From global cities like Tokyo and New York to less populated areas like Orange County and Toronto, the Night Nation Run has pretty much traveled across the world by now. Next on the list is Chicago, where the glowing EDM festival will call Soldier Field home for a night.

  • 6:30 pm: DJ’s hit the stage for the pre-party. Participants are encouraged to dance it off to loosen up before the race begins
  • 7:30 pm: The race begins, one wave at a time. The starting line is a bit different than you’d expect as live DJ’s, an interactive light show, and giveaways make sure everyone starts off on the right foot.
  • The Course: The race itself features designated party zones that allow runners to stop and take in the concert atmosphere for as long as they’d like.
  • The After Party: This is where the real fun lies. The finish line area houses the main stage, where multiple DJ’s will get you on your feet. Lights, confetti guns, and fog – it’s all here. It’s all topped off by a surprise headliner at the end.
