Restaurants Raising Breast Cancer Awareness in Chicago this October

As we all know, Chicago’s culinary scene is always at the forefront raising funds for good causes, making our dining experience a little more meaningful than usual. Throughout October, you can now go out to eat at our beloved bars and restaurants and contribute to a very important cause. Here are the bars and restaurants standing up for Breast Cancer Awareness. I could not think of a better reason to break in my fall jacket and hit the town.

PS: One of the most notable Breast Cancer Awareness Campaigns is Chicago’s In Good Taste initiative. You can view an entire list of participating locations and who’s already made a significant contribution this year. If some of these restaurants and bars weren’t my favorite already, they definitely are now.

Catch 35

With locations in Chicago and Naperville, Catch 35 supports the cause all month long. Throughout October, all dessert purchases will be donated to the ABCD (After Breast Cancer Diagnosis) Helpline “Dessert for the Cause” promotion. Not only is their Executive Chef preparing a special dessert with pink whipped cream during October, but you can choose from various options with all profits being donated to the cause. They will even honor this purchase if you are too full from dinner and want to take one home instead. How could you pass on dessert now?
