If you have been in any of the states listed within 14 days, please adhere to the regulation and do not visit the zoo. Lincoln Park Zoo reserves the right to increase or reduce the number of tickets available on any given date or time based on operational abilities and/or City and State guidelines.
Are tickets required for infants and children? Yes. ZooLights tickets cost $5 per guest. Every member of your party must be accounted for, including infants and children. Only the guests included in the ticket order will be allowed to enter the zoo.
Can I bring a group? Got a group larger than 10? Zoo buildings are closed to the public, but groups or organizations may rent them for private use.
Rented buildings can accommodate up to 50 guests, who will be able to access the rented space and ZooLights. For more information, visit lpzoo.org/private-events/ .
For standard ZooLights attendance, the maximum group size is 10, and every member of your party must have a ticket. Lincoln Park Zoo respectfully requires that visiting groups larger than 10 split into smaller groups while visiting the zoo.
This helps keep the zoo in compliance with City and State guidelines.
Do I have to arrive right at the time I booked? What if I’m late? Please arrive at the zoo at the specific time you choose. You may enter anytime during the half-hour window on your ticket (for example, if you booked at 4 p.m., you may arrive between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.). If you arrive at another time, you may not be guaranteed entry.
Is there a limit to the amount of time I can stay? No. There is no formal limit to visit time. Most guests stay for about an hour.
What if my plans change? Are tickets refundable or transferable? No. Due to the need for potential contact tracing, ZooLights tickets are non-transferable . While we understand that plans change, ZooLights tickets are non-refundable and the event will continue whether rain or shine.
Do I have to wear a face covering? Yes. All zoo guests over the age of 2 should wear a face covering unless medically unable, especially near popular animal habitats, food and retail kiosks, and restrooms. This helps protect other guests, zoo staff, volunteers, and the animals in our care.
Can I still get food and souvenirs at the zoo? Yes! Outdoor food and retail kiosks are open. The Patio at Cafe Brauer is open for outdoor dining and takeaway. Park Place Cafe is open for takeaway. Meals can be ordered using Tock: visit exploretock.com/cafebrauer or exploretock.com/parkplacecafe .
