Pilot Light Back-to-School Block Party
On Saturday, August 24th, celebrate summer (while it’s still in full swing) at Pilot Light’s Back-to-School Block Party presented by BMO Harris in the West Loop, featuring gourmet bites from the city’s top chefs, family-friendly activities and proceeds benefiting food education in local Chicago schools.
Located at 1500 W Carroll Ave, Pilot Light’s Block Party will include a grill-out with hot restaurants like Publican Quality Meats, Local Foods, Tanta, Arbella, Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba, plus warm-weather treats from Hoosier Mama, GT’s Kombucha and Left Coast. Kids can get it on the fun with lawn games, educational food workshops, DIY crafts, photo-booths and more. Plus, there will be raffles, giveaways and live performances by Chicago Center for Music Education and more.
Tickets: Pilot Light’s Back-to-School Block Party will take place on Saturday, August 24th from 12 – 4 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here (http://bit.ly/PilotLightBP). Price of admission will be $10 for adults and free for kids under the age of 12. Food and activity tickets can be purchased at $3 per ticket, which can be redeemed for food items, select kids activities, and raffles.
Rain Plan: Pilot Light’s Back-to-School Block Party will be canceled 24 hours in advance should there be severe storms or lightning in the forecast. Otherwise, the event will happen rain or shine.
