Tacos from top Windy city eateries will be available for purchase including, carne asada, chorizo, barbacoa, carnitas, al pastor, veggie, street tacos & more. Complement your plate with side dishes such as elotes, tamales, guacamole, quesadillas, and desserts.

Tequila Tasting
Due to popular demand, we’ve expanded our tequila and mezcal tastings to two sessions each day. Enjoy 12 tasting tickets to 20+ tequila & mezcal varieties. Learn about how the spirits are made and how to craft your own cocktails while enjoying private island sounds in the tasting area. Tastings are a separate ticketed experience. Limited to 300 guests per session.

Relax in the park to reggae, house, salsa and mariachi sounds. Take shade in the silent disco tent with sets from Chicago’s favorite DJs. Bring your dog to the Chicago Canine Rescue play area. Visit local artist and merchant booths or compete in volleyball or bocce in the festival’s Sports Yard.

How many times per week do you eat tacos? Do you have what it takes to be crowned the Chicago Taco & Tequila Fest Taco Champion? Compete in our Sunday Chicago Taco Eating Contest at 2:00PM. To enter, complete the following application and post a video on Instagram with why you should be chosen with the hashtag #Chicagotacoandtequilafest.

North Pond – 2491 N Cannon Drive, Chicago, IL 60614. Public Transportation is encouraged. The park is easily accessible by the #76, #77, #134, #143, #151, and #161 bus lines, or a 20 minute walk from the Fullerton Brown, Red and Purple Line stop. Limited parking is available at the Lincoln Park Zoo and along Stockton Drive. Uber/Lyft/Rideshare is encouraged. And, please do not drink and drive!
