Chicago Beer Festival: A Night at the Field Museum

If you live in Chicago, you’ve been experiencing a lot of rain these past few days.

After a rainy day, nothing lightens my mood more than a nice night on the town (and a little alcohol wouldn’t hurt either). If you’re anything like me, the Chicago Beer Festival is right up your alley.

The Field Museum will be hosting this year’s Chicago Beer Festival on March 26th from 7 PM–11 PM. What better way to stay out of the Chicago rain and have some fun on a Saturday night?

I recently spoke with the event host, Dan Silberstein, who told me that the event will have food, music, and some of the exhibits at the museum will even be open to attendees. Sampling amazing beer and admiring Sue in the T-Rex exhibit? Sounds like a great night to me! The event will feature up to 70 local and domestic breweries and they are very eager for you to sample their seasonal beers.

General admission is $45.00 and VIP admission is $55.00. VIP admission will include early entry at 7 PM and specialty beers for a full hour before the general admission attendees arrive. Admission will include beer samplings and the food will be sold separately. Attendees will receive 40 taster vouchers when upon arrival for the event. Tickets will not be sold at the door so hurry up and buy your tickets while you still can!
