About Bridgeport Art Center
Bridgeport Art Center is a massive art facility on the southwest side of the neighborhood. Established in 2001, it includes two event-ready venue spaces and three curated art galleries. It is utilized by a wide variety of artists and includes studio and office spaces, a ceramics center, and a fashion design center. Their Annual Art Competition brings together dozens of artists from the Chicagoland area, and they also host a popular open studio on the third Friday of each month. Bridgeport Art Center offers public art classes in woodworking, mosaics, and more. Located adjacent to the Zhou B Art Center, it establishes Bridgeport as a top destination in the city’s art scene.
