About The Neo-Futurists
Andersonville gets a hearty dose of postmodern theater from the Neo-Futurists – a surrealist acting troupe that’s been putting on jaw dropping shows since the late 80’s. Once home to Chicago’s longest running piece of performance art, Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind, the Neo’s are known for both moving and confusing their audiences at once. Now housed in what they call the Neo-Futurarium, this neighborhood group has slowly become one of the most highly regarded theater organizations in the city, making a stop by this odd-ball showspace a must.
