Pacific Hospitality Group’s Hotel Granduca Austin is unveiling the addition of Spa Viata on Wednesday, October 19. It is designed and completed by interior design firm Hotel Studio, McCabe Architecture, Digney York Associates and PHG, with branding by local branding agency, Tenderling. Influenced by Italy’s abundant spa heritage, Spa Viata will provide holistic, nature infused treatments, aromatic steam rooms, and sea-inspired bathing that seamlessly intertwines with the sun drenched, highly social, Austin lifestyle.
“When guests arrive at Spa Viata, we want them to feel a tranquil reprieve from the bustle of everyday life,” says Hotel Granduca General Manager David Putnicki. “We aspire to provide everyone with an unparalleled spa experience leaving them revitalized and rejuvenated.”
The new spa is located on the hotel’s second floor and is overseen by Director of Spa & Wellness, Allison Williams. Williams brings her years of experience as Spa Director of JW Marriott (SPA by JW) and General Manager of numerous private salons and spas, coupled with her joy of providing clients tailored services to help them meet their health and wellness needs. Spa Viata will feature products from a variety of organic and sustainable skincare lines from around the world with the highest sourced ingredients for a most luxurious skin experience, including an exclusive partnership with the elite Italian-based clean beauty skincare line, Furtuna.

The new spa’s design is a crisp, modern take on luxury Italian wellness. The natural beauty of Austin’s Hill Country paired with the Italian countryside creates the experience of a soothing and tranquil setting enhanced by organic aromas. The eight treatment room facility includes a designated couple’s suite as well as a private spa suite complete with a hydrotherapy tub and experiential rain shower. The spa menu includes massages, facials, and more, with amenities such as a relaxation lounge, men’s and women’s locker rooms complete with steam room, and sauna.

Spa Viata is part of the exciting transformation of Hotel Granduca which included the opening of a modern Italian restaurant, Laurel, along with extensive renovations throughout the hotel.
