Pups + Beer! Pet Adoption at Jester King Brewery

Jester King Brewery is partnering with PAWS Central Texas to give Austinites and Dripping Springs residents the chance to take home a new, furry friend while enjoying a beer outdoors!

On Sunday, May 23, from 12-4 pm, Jester King will host PAWS Shelter of Central Texas, a no-kill shelter located in Kyle, Texas, for a pet adoption event. PAWS will have both dogs and cats on site for adoption.

Families and already-happily-homed animals are welcome at the adoption event as long as pets are friendly and leashed. The event will be open to the public; no ticket required.

Additionally, Jester King will have new, house-made dog treats available for sale on-site. All proceeds for the dog treats will go to PAWS Central Texas. Photo of the dog treats is attached.

In 2019, Texas ranked #2 in the country for shelter pet deaths and euthanasia. Collaborative events like this can facilitate a larger turnout and lead to more animals finding a long-term home.
