Julie’s Noodles

Julie’s Noodles used to be a food truck on campus, but with its rapid popularity and incredible dishes, it soon became a full blown Chinese restaurant in Austin. Their focus is on creating authentic Chinese noodle-based dishes (all made by hand) and those heavenly soup dumplings.
Lin Asian Bar

Lin Asian Bar is the place to visit for Dim Sum around town, though their other entrees are incredible too. Head Chef Ling hails from Fuzhou and all the dishes served are inspired by her grandmother’s home cooking.
Old Thousand

Old Thousand is both a spectacular Chinese restaurant and an amazing cocktail bar. If you’re searching for places to order Chinese food in Austin, the dishes on the menu are a blend of authentic cuisines with a more western twist. IN addition, the cocktails are like none you’ll find anywhere else. Plus, the whole restaurant is just cool.
TC Noodle House

TC Noodle House has a truly massive menu. The family-owned restaurant offers dishes that are a blend of Chinese and Vietnamese cuisines. The food really has that homestyle feel, and it’s so tasty.
Din Ho Chinese BBQ

Din Ho has some incredible BBQ, but not at all like other barbecue places you’ll see around Austin. Their flavors and extra dishes are entirely different, plus they have the all important — Beijing roast duck, a must-try for anyone into Chinese food.
Sichuan Garden

All of the food at Sichuan Garden is authentic to the Sichuan Province in China, it’s spicy, full-bodied, and unlike many Chinese dishes you’ll see at other restaurants. Though it’s technically in Round Rock, it’s 100-percent worth those extra miles.
Bao’d Up

When many people think of Chinese food, baos may not be the first thing that comes to mind, but in China they’re a staple for any meal from breakfasts to snacks.
