There is no shortage of holiday lights displays near San Antonio, including a spectacular stroll along the San Antonio Riverwalk. Spread some cheer and get in the holiday spirit when you venture to these holiday lights shows.
San Antonio Riverwalk Holiday Lights
From November 25, 2022 – January 9, 2023, the San Antonio Riverwalk will be all decked out in holiday lights scattering reflections across the water. Kicking off the annual Ford River Holiday Parade, the official televised lighting ceremony in the Arneson River Theatre will take place on November 25.
Old West Christmas Light Fest
Take a step back in time and enjoy the holiday season inside an authentic western town at Enchanted Springs Ranch in San Antonio. Enjoy mechanical bull rides, laser tag, a scavenger hunt, a hay maze, indoor marketplace, live music, delicious food, and a stroll through the light tunnel.
Elf Acres
Drive slowly under a mile-long tunnel of holiday lights displays at Elf Acres from November 18, 2022 – January 8, 2023. When you’ve made it through the magical portal, enter Santa’s Village to visit Kris Kringle himself!
Sights and Sounds of Christmas
This holiday lights show just outside San Antonio is not to be missed. Located in San Marcos, Sights and Sounds of Christmas is a popular carnival that introduces you to the holiday season with delicious festival food, live performances, and even a visit from Santa Claus. Open six evenings this December over 2 weeks, from Thursday, December 1 – Saturday, December 3, and again December 8 – 10.
Santa’s Ranch
Take a mile-long cruise down winding country roads at Texas’s favorite holiday lights show in New Braunfels, from November 11, 2022 – January 1, 2023. Santa’s Ranch displays beautiful lights and animation, and lets you enjoy homemade hot cocoa, kettle corn, and snacks along the way. Tickets are $35 with tax included per car.
