Where to Buy Your Pumpkins in the Valley This October

It’s fall time once again! You can’t really escape the excitement over Spooky Season and the cooler weather in the Valley. However, you might need to plot out how you’ll participate — namely, where will you get your pumpkins of choice in the Valley? Where will you celebrate the coming of autumn with your kids, your friends, or your spouse? Any of the pumpkin patches below are perfect for that celebration and finding the right squash for you.

Mother Nature’s Farm

1663 E Baseline Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85233

At Mother Nature’s Farm, you can experience a straw maze with your kids or pick a great pumpkin to bring home from Brooke’s Pumpkin Patch. For $12 a person, you can be a part of multiple other things at the farm, including animal feeding, a hayride, and a spider web crawl. Just don’t forget to take a good look at the patch and take your favorite short, orange squash back home with you!

Vertuccio Farms

4011 S Power Rd, Mesa, AZ 85212

Vertuccio Farms wants you to come to celebrate the cooler weather by visiting their corn maze, riding the “Super Mega Slide,” a train ride, or even painting and taking your very own pumpkin. This is the Valley’s longest-running corn maze as well, and pets on leashes are welcome. You can visit the farm for $15, and to simply buy a pumpkin you can just show up without even needing to pay admission. That said, plenty of things are available for purchase — including pony rides and concessions!

Schnepf Farms

24810 S Rittenhouse Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142

The Pumpkin & Chili Party is an event that takes place at Schnepf Farms, every Thursday through Sunday in October! This event is huge, sporting a sweets shop, a rock wall for climbing, a roller coaster, zip lines, a petting zoo, pig races, bonfires and more. Naturally, you can also purchase pumpkins and taste chili here too! You can join in on all this fun for only $23.95 per person, with 2-year-old kids and younger coming in for free.

MacDonald’s Ranch

26540 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85255

Whether you want to reserve a horseback riding tour or you’re just coming to check out the pumpkin patch, you can find your fun at MacDonald’s Ranch. You can feed the petting zoo animals for only $3, but your entrance fee of $13 includes lawn games like Jenga, a hay-bale maze, panning for gold activities, and even a scavenger hunt!

Halloween Town Pumpkin Patch

3111 W Chandler Blvd, Chandler, AZ 85226

Opening on October 13th, Halloween Town brings a lot of the pumpkin patch experience into an all-encompassing adventure: games and rides, children’s activities like face painting and pumpkin painting, and carnival food staples like funnel cake! You can bring your kids to learn more about how pumpkins grow, to enjoy the autumn air, and to find perfect pumpkins in the Valley for your home! Count down the days and be ready for all-out excitement come the 13th!
