Art HQ/West Valley Arts

West Valley Arts is by far one of the most diverse, inclusive gallery spaces in the Phoenix Metro area. They recently produced an exhibition featuring the African American cultural heritage and constantly involves local Black artists in their regular exhibitions.
35 Lisa Sette Gallery

35 Lisa Sette Gallery has been the go-to scene for high-end, latest contemporary art and they pride themselves in diversity and inclusion. 35 Lisa Sette interacts with a wide variety of artists identifying as POC, immigrants, or a member of the Pride community and does a fantastic job creating a narrative around the artist’s work.
{9} The Gallery

{9} has been known for their inclusiveness, diversity, and outstanding quality of art they represent. They receive new submissions from artists coming from all over the world and the only criteria of their selection process is the quality and creativity displayed in the artwork.
Modified Arts

Modified Arts is a music and contemporary art space in downtown Phoenix. Their current exhibition “What Can I Say” is featuring POC artists who reflect upon their own experience to create a confrontational conversation regarding fears, personal marginalization, complicity, memories, anxiety, love, humor, and expressions of humanity.
Gilbert Ortega Native American Galleries

We should never overlook the Native American population when seeking amazing POC artists. Gilbert Ortega has been showcasing Native American arts since the early 1800s and advocates the love, respect, and passion for Native people.
ASU Grant Street Studios

The Grant Street Studios is a combination of gallery space, art education center, and artist studios. It amplifies the ides of a phoenix rising from the ashes and is created to provide a community for the diverse graduate students at ASU School of Art.
Udinotti Gallery
4215 N Marshall Way, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
Udinotti is run by Greek artist, poet, and curator Agnese Udionotti, and dedicates itself to showcase beautiful art created by artists from all ethnicities. The gallery showcases artworks across genres, including sculpture, ceramics, paintings, drawings, etc.
Heard Museum

The Heard Museum believes in the power of culture and diversity. The museum showcases both artists from around the world and artifacts representing minority cultures. It is the museum’s goal to educate, inform, and build rapport across cultures and ethnicities.
Art One Gallery

Featuring local and regional artists, especially young and emerging artists, Art One Gallery has always been an advocate for POC artists and societal equality. Their current exhibition is a reflection of the brutality and disturbance that happened in the past few months.
Step Gallery

Step Gallery is the best place to find emerging artists, especially minority artists. This gallery is 100-percent student-run and is a part of the Grant Street Studios. However, it is independent of the remaining areas of the studio and serves as the place where students can collaborate and put on solo or group projects together.
Northlight Gallery

Northlight Gallery is the most established gallery focusing on photography. It is the gallery’s goal to represent POC and other underrepresented artists in the photography community in and around Arizona and across the nation.
Vision Gallery
10 East Chicago Street, Chandler, AZ 85225
Vision Gallery seeks artists who create astounding visions. Their current exhibition features black artist Shaunté Glover and her photographic work. Explore their website and catalog to learn about the diverse artists they represent.
Five 15 Arts

Five 15 Arts at Chartreuse displays some of the most unique ethnical art from the Arizona region. This gallery has a special way of picking the most outstanding, yet underrepresented artists and bringing them together.
Melrose Art Collective

As a gallery and also an artist co-working space at the same time, Melrose Art Collective is famous for its diversity and vibrance. It is almost guaranteed that no two visits are the same at Melrose, and you can only understand their inclusiveness and creativity by paying them a visit yourself.
