Mohawk

Mohawk has an amazing space, hosting both local artists and ones on tour! There are indoor and outdoor stages, and a roof-deck where you’ll really get a great view of not just the show, but also the Austin skyline.
Empire Control Room

Empire is a huge — and we mean huge — music space. With three unique stages, they’re regular hosts of bands during SXSW. But even when all that craziness isn’t going on, you’ll find awesome shows playing Thursdays – Sundays every week!
Hotel Vegas

There’s always something cool happening at Hotel Vegas. The whole vibe is a blend between a vintage cocktail bar and an east-side dive, and trust us — that makes for some spectacular shows you won’t see anywhere else!
Cheer Up Charlie’s

If you’re looking for great live music bars in Austin and a guaranteed dance party, Cheer Up Charlie’s is the place! They have great shows on their sizable outdoor stage, and overall an incredibly fun, colorful atmosphere.
The Continental Club

An Austin original, the Continental Club has been attracting some of the biggest names in rock, country, and blues since the 1950s! The club today is like walking right back in time — as it was remodeled to be as close to the original as possible.
Hole in the Wall

At Hole in the Wall, you can find all sorts of music, from beginner artists to famous musicians. Here, there’s something that goes deeper than just great shows. Though it’s got a cozy vibe, you’ll hear some of the craziest stories come out of this place — which is so totally Austin.
Stubb’s BBQ

Stubb’s may be renowned for its incredible barbecue, but dare we say more popular is the live music scene. Since the ’70s and well into today, Stubb’s has been the place to be for all kinds of concerts, from local shows to major names in music!
Far Out Lounge

Far Out Lounge is well, pretty far out, but well worth the drive. It’s located in the older part of South Austin, so much so — part of the bar was built back in 1908! They’ve got a really spectacular outdoor space and stage area, plus great drinks and food trucks.
