Where to Celebrate St.Patrick’s Day in Tucson

Cup Cafe

Cup Cafe will have a special breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu just for St.Patrick’s Day. Dishes include Cast Iron Corned Beef Hash, Braised Corn Beef and Cabbage, Irish Beer Cheese Soup, Shepherd’s Pie, and — get this — Guinness cupcakes. How cool is that? Enjoy your entrees al fresco or inside this contemporary cafe located just inside Hotel Congress.

Speaking of Hotel Congress, this iconic downtown inn will be hosting a party on the plaza this coming Thursday the 17th at 5 p.m. Live music, Irish dancing, green beer, and other libations, as well as food trucks — all will be present at the event. Grab a Guinness Poutine while you’re there. Oh, and don’t forget the Great Guinness Toast at 10 pm! 

Sky Bar

Located on North 4th Avenue, this night-sky-inspired bar will be celebrating St.Paddy’s Day on the 17th with green beer and local music and drink specials. Enjoy Throwback Thursday tunes by local DJ and producer DJ-Jam-Is-On. Look for the celestial murals on this astronomy-themed bar and make yourself at home in their solar-powered digs!

Fifth Annual Lucky St Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl

If a bar crawl is more your scene, you’re in luck! This pub crawl takes place on Saturday, March 19th at the Funky Monk. Check-in time is 4–6 p.m., and from there, you can check out a number of other bars including O’Malley’s, Mr. Heads, John Henry’s, and others. Drink specials at each location and a $1,000 costume contest. Sign up if you feel lucky! 

Union Public House

Union Public House will be hosting a St.Patrick’s Day celebration this Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 o’clock the next morning! A traditional Irish dish of Corned Beef Cabbage featuring house brined brisket, boules potatoes, carrots, cabbage, and violet mustard sauce will be served. Drink specials like Green Tea Shots, Jameson, Car Bombs, Guinness, and Irish Mules can also be ordered. Local band OnesAll will be performing on the outdoor stage from 7 to 10 p.m. that night.

1912 Brewing Company

Located on the Westside of Tucson, 1912 Brewing Co will be celebrating the holiday this Thursday from 1 to 9 p.m. They will be introducing three brand new brews, green beer, and traditional Irish dishes like Corned Beef and Cabbage from 2 to 8 p.m. If you want something celebratory but more laid back than a bar crawl, this veteran-owned and locally sourced taproom could be just what you’re looking for.
